Inspired by the rich beauty traditions of both Barbadian and Guyanese culture, Karib Skin is a tribute to my Caribbean heritage, a celebration of radiant, effortless beauty passed down through generations. Born to Barbadian parents, I was raised with a deep appreciation for beauty, self-care, and the power of nature. My Guyanese grandfather had an entrepreneurial spirit, owning stores and selling a variety of goods, which inspired me to build something of my own.

My love for beauty began when I was a little girl, playing with my mother’s skincare collection and glittery creams. As I grew older, that fascination turned into ambition. In high school, I started sketching out product ideas, dreaming of owning my own beauty brand one day. I was also the go-to makeup artist for my friends, and before long, I began doing makeup professionally, honing my craft and deepening my understanding of beauty.

Wanting to take my passion even further, I became certified in cosmetic and skincare science, allowing me to merge my love for beauty with the science behind skincare and clean formulations.

With this deep connection to my roots, I created Karib Skin to honor Caribbean beauty secrets while embracing modern luxury. Our brand is a fusion of nature and innovation. Each product is clean, sustainable, and designed to enhance the effortless glow that island beauty is known for. Karib Skin is more than just a beauty brand, this is a movement, a celebration of culture, confidence, and self-care that empowers every person to shine in their most radiant, authentic way.
